On Forest and Pine’s Monterey-facing side, the grid pattern breaks apart at Eardley Avenue, which runs along the divide with New Monterey. The Spanish Revival sits just inside that line, on a flat residential block that enjoys peace and quiet just a few blocks uphill from downtown.
